ELIGIBILITY FOR ASSESSMENT

 Any ginning & pressing factory modernized under TMC or TUFS or by the factory at its own cost and meeting minimum prescribed criteria listed in Annexure – I is eligible for assessment by Textiles Committee.

 Ginning & pressing factories having hybrid facilities (both conventional & modern facilities) in the same premises are not eligible for assessment.

 

Minimum Eligibility Requirements – Machinery

Ginning Machines (Small Unit)	12 N / 11 EL / 9 J / 8 SJ / 1 or 2 Saw gins (90 saws)
Ginning Machines (Large Unit)	24 N / 22 EL / 18 J / 16 SJ / 3 Saw gins (90 saws)
Pre cleaner	Off-line / On-line cleaner with 3 beaters for inclined 5 beaters for horizontal
Lint Cleaner	3 beaters
Conveyor System for kapas	Pneumatic / Mechanical conveyor from heap to Central / Side platform in gin house
Conveyor System for Lint	Conveyor from Gins to Lint Cleaner, from Lint Cleaner to Pala House and from Pala House to Bale Press Hall. (Conveyor from Pala House to Bale Press hall is not required if both are under the same roof)
Bale Press	Two stage manual tramping press
Conveyor for Seed	Automatic conveyor from gins to seed platform
Humidifier / Moisturizer	Benson fans for kapas & lint
Fire Fighting System (Small Unit)	5 hydrants + 65 KL closed or 75 KL open water storage with electric pump & standby diesel pump
Fire Fighting System (Large Unit)	10 hydrants + 125 KL closed or 150 KL open water storage with electric pump & standby diesel pump
Electrical Wiring	The Electrical wiring to be underground are protected.
Weigh Bridge	Facility (20 Ton) to be available within the factory premises or within 1 km

Seed Platform (Small Unit)	Brick / CC platform of 1000 sq. ft.
Seed Platform (Large Unit)	Brick / CC platform of 2000 sq. ft.
Bale Platform	Brick / CC platform of 600 sq. ft.
Road	BT / CC road of minimum 10 ft. width from Gate to Kapas Platform via Weigh Bridge
Boundary Wall / Fence	Wire fence / boundary wall all around
